With all due respect, you have your bank to thank for this.
We have to create complex workaround because your bank doesn’t have an API (i.e. a direct integration). Alternative accounting software providers will offer Yodlee as the solution for Lloyds bank feeds, we already provide this as an option for £15 + vat per year. This however is just a different type of workaround to solve the problem of your bank not having a direct feed.
Until Open Banking is fully rolled out later this year any solution will potentially face reliability issues.
