Customise outgoing email template - or at least disable

Hello @Glenn,

It would be nice to have the option to override the email template you use by giving an On/Off option in the admin settings, and then two textareas to allow custom HTML/CSS to be appended to the head and foot of the email.

That or, by using an transactional email service like SendGrid, which can apply the template at SMTP level, at least allow the template to be disabled, sending plain HTML emails with text only and none of your other styling.

It’s probably something we will do in time. The plan is to develop a simple HTML editor so that it will be possible to edit a few of the currently static templates. The idea is to give users full control over things like client area banners along with email templates.
