Monzo Bank Feed Payee Name not in feed

Hi, I’ve just swapped from TSB to Monzo and have started to use the Bank Feed to import transactions. I’ve noticed that on the TSB bank feed I get the Payee and Description in the feed but I’m only getting the description on the Monzo feed, Is there anyway to correct this, so it’s the same ?

I could do with having the Payee Name included incase the reference used is not clear

I can’t reply on my own ticket now as its closed as i left it too long, but I was told if you change it for one feed it affects all the others but the others already have it this way. Hence I am not understanding why it can’t be added.

All the other feeds have the payee data included and reference. Is it the way Monzo have presented it? 2 separate fields and the others present the data as one field or something?

The manual option doesn’t work for me because as you say, there are only 4 data columns available. Plus, I don’t really want to be having to upload statements manually.

I would be happy to approach Monzo again if I can understand the mechanics of the issue.

If Monzo presents as two fields, is this not something QuickFile can program into the system to concatenate the fields if it is a Monzo bank feed, I’ve not seen the raw data from the Bank feed, seems odd that other banks so as we need

It does appear to be more of a Monzo thing here, I’ve got my Monzo account linked to my Santander banking app, and also only get the description/reference on there as well.

I looked at an bank statement CSV export from Monzo and TSB earlier and TSB has a singular description field, where as Monzo has a Payee and Reference/description field.

Have you contacted Monzo about this? @QFSteve is this something you would do to hopefully resolve with Monzo? (having more power than a single customer of theirs asking) or would we need to do it? Thanks.

I’ve not contacted Monzo, feels like Quickfile would have more wait contacting them about their bank feed information or the banking feed providor if this is not direct
