I’ve just set up my account as VAT registered and set a start date for VAT returns as today. After doing so, I then did a manual paypal feed import on today’s sales and when I look at them, there is no VAT included in the totals.
I’m not sure what the problem is really, anyone got any idea?
It’s OK, I needed to tick the vatable box on my paypal feed settings. I’ve done another import and the fresh sales now include VAT.
So the previous sales from this morning I need to modify manually, but this creates a fresh problem…
I have one particular invoice for £5.25 gross, if I put in the net price of 4.37, I get a total of 5.24, if I put in a net price of 4.38 I get a total of 5.26. I can’t get the total invoice to come out at 5.25!

Glad you got your first issue sorted!
With the VAT issue, you can override the VAT but you need to enable this in your settings.

Check you have ticked the box in the invoice designer.
