I wish to project tag a load of bank transactions, they do not have invoices or purchases created on the system.
The transactions are “tagged” according to the nominal account tagging process.

Unfortunately a project tag can only be applied to an invoice, estimate or purchase order. There isn’t a way to tag a bank transaction.
However, you can apply an adjustment to a project tag if needed:
