Dropbox Custom Folder Suffixes

Linking a Dropbox account to multiple Quick File Accounts

Quick File allow a single Dropbox account to be linked to multiple Quick File accounts. This worked on the basis that if you want specific files to route to a linked Quick File account, you’d need to drop them into a folder corresponding to the destination Quick File account number e.g.

Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400100\..
Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400102\..
Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400103\..

Once you have a few linked accounts it can get confusing to know which Quick File account number corresponds to which company.

Named suffixes

As of today you can now modify these folders to include some descriptive text to help you identify the account. e.g.

Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400100_My_Company_1\..
Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400102_My_Company_2\..
Dropbox\Apps\Quick File Receipts\6131400103_My_Company_3\..

As long as the Quick File account number is preserved at the beginning of the folder this will continue to work fine!
